Empower. Develop. Transform.
Training with young people

Impact

Real impact is measured in people.

We believe education transforms when it sparks curiosity, strengthens skills and inspires new ways of thinking and acting.

The numbers tell part of our story.

The impact we leave on people tells the rest.

EVA Project — Em Voz Alta

During the 2025/2026 school year, the EVA – Em Voz Alta project was implemented in three schools in the municipality of Coimbra, through in-person sessions for lower and upper secondary students.

In total, five sessions were held, reaching ten classes and approximately 240 students.

To assess the impact of the intervention, a voluntary evaluation questionnaire was applied at the end of each session. It was answered by 86 students, around 35.8% of all participants, forming the sample used in the analysis presented in the following sections.

An intervention with impact

The EVA project reached a significant number of young people, fostering essential skills to navigate the digital information ecosystem critically and responsibly.

The students' active participation in the evaluation process reinforces the quality and relevance of the project.

Figure 1

The session helped me better understand how information can be manipulated.

  • 5 — Strongly agree80,2%
  • 4 — Agree15,1%
  • 3 — Neutral3,5%
  • 2 — Disagree1,2%
  • 1 — Strongly disagree0,0%

A very significant share of students (80.2%) states that the session helped them better understand the mechanisms of information manipulation.

This result shows that the project's main pedagogical goal — developing critical awareness of the information ecosystem — was widely achieved.

Figure 2

After this session, I will think more before sharing content.

  • 5 — Strongly agree80,2%
  • 4 — Agree14,0%
  • 3 — Neutral3,5%
  • 2 — Disagree1,2%
  • 1 — Strongly disagree1,1%

The vast majority of participants (80.2%) say they will reflect more before sharing content on social media or other platforms.

This indicator reveals a positive change in students' behavioural intentions, signalling that the project contributed not only to knowledge acquisition but also to more responsible digital practices.

Figure 3

I feel more prepared to critically analyse information online.

  • 5 — Strongly agree72,1%
  • 4 — Agree22,1%
  • 3 — Neutral4,6%
  • 2 — Disagree1,2%
  • 1 — Strongly disagree0,0%

More than seven in ten students (72.1%) say they feel more prepared to critically analyse information available online.
